Sometimes college meal plans are less than satisfactory, and you have to resort to making meals in your dorm room. Dorms typically don’t have a kitchen, so you have to get certain appliances to be able to make food in your dorm. It can be hard to figure out what appliances are allowed though, so I decided to make this list of appliances that might be allowed in your dorm that are super useful to have!
Something that you guys might not know about me is that I LOVE thrift shopping. My mom would take my sister and I thrift shopping when we were younger, and I have loved it ever since. Some people think thrift shopping is gross and unsanitary, but 99% of the time the clothes are perfectly fine. You can even find brand new clothes in most thrift stores if you look hard enough! So today I am bringing you my most recent thrift haul!
I got a lot of positive feedback from my December income report, so I decided that I would do one for January. Income reports are a great way for me to track my progress with monetizing my blog, and they ‘re also an opportunity for you all to see how I am making money blogging!

Hi everyone! So I don’t usually post a lot of personal stuff on my blog, but I’ve decided that every once in a while I’m going to do a little chit chat/ life updates so that you guys can get to know me a little better and so that I can share important things with you guys along the way. So, yeah! Let’s get into it!
Deciding where to go to college is hard. There are so many different things that you have to consider–cost, scholarships, location, and more. Personally, the decision of going out of state or staying in state was the hardest decision for me to make. I ended up deciding to go to college out of state, and now that I have the knowledge under my belt, I made a roundup of some downfalls to going to school out of state.
Hey everyone! I hope all of you are have had a great start to the semester. My first day of school actually got cancelled because there was so much snow here, so that was really nice! At the end of October I wrote an “October Obsessions” post, and I had a lot of fun writing it. Since the end of January is nearing, I thought that I would do a “January favorites” post that consists of all of my favorite things during this month!
This past summer I decided to try out Kindle Unlimited. When I was contemplating whether or not to purchase it, I turned to Pinterest for some reviews. To my surprise, there were very few reviews of it! I tried it out anyway though, and now I have for you my no bs, completely honest Kindle Unlimited review.
2017 was a great year because it was the year that I started this blog! I have accomplished so much with it already, but there is even more that I want to accomplish in 2018! I love having this blog because it enables me to share my experiences with people while also having a place for me to look back on this journey.
Since I’m getting ready to start my second semester of college, I thought I would take some time to sit down and write about the ups and downs of my first semester. It was definitely an experience. Before I started college, I found myself looking for blog posts where college students shared their experience with their first semester, year, etc, so I thought it would be kind of fun not only to write it so that other curious people could see it, but also so that I can look back on this post in the future. Also, I know that my grandma will probably read this & she is probably curious about what I’ve been up to. 🙂 Hope you all enjoy this little look into my life!
