A day in my life: Valentine’s Day date

Hellooo everyone. For today’s post I thought I would just give you all a little peep into my life and tell you what I did for Valentine’s Day. I haven’t been feeling well this week, so I decided I would just write this short lil post rather than the long post that I had planned. If you don’t care what goes on in my life then you can just leave this post, but if you do care, then keep on scrolling!

I’ve said this in a few of my recent posts, but I’m trying to get a little more personal on my blog. Writing posts about college tips and stuff can be nice, but I also want you guys to get to know the person behind the posts. For the longest time I was overwhelmed by the notion that every single one of my posts had to be helpful and that no one wanted to read anything about my life. Which I mean, still might be true. But I like writing posts like this about my life, so I’m still going to do it! 🙂

First stop: sushi

lol when you realize that your bf has been taking selfies when you asked him to take pics of you

The first thing that we did when we got to the city was go get some sushi. I got a veggie roll (bc vegetarian af) with avocado and cucumber. It was sooooo good. We also got some fried rice and spring rolls. I didn’t really care for the spring rolls much because they had a loooot of cilantro and I think it tastes like soap tbh. I’m sure that you would like the them if you like the cilantro, they just weren’t doing it for me. But yeah, the sushi was great and the rice was great. If you’re from Oklahoma and want some sushi, I definitely recommend Nhinja Sushi. It’s so cheap and yummy.

Second stop: mall

After that, we went to the mall and looked around for a bit and then went and watched the Black Panther. Before the movie I really wanted a pretzel, but unfortunately the concession closed before I could get it. 🙁 The movie was SOOOOOOO good though. 25000/10 would recommend. The soundtrack is FIRE, so that’s also a plus. The mix of African tribal music and rap is absolutely amazing. But yeah, everything about the movie was fantastic.

Third stop: snacks

After the movie, we got in the car to go back home. I really wanted something sweet after the movie, so we set out to find a place with some good snackies. We ended up at Sonic, who just so happened to have a limited time offer for pretzels and cheese. So obviously I got that. It wasn’t that great honestly, it tasted like a funnel cake, not a pretzel. I also got a large order of cinnasnacks, which are always yummy.

That’s it for this post! Not the most exciting Valentine’s date, but it was still super nice and fun. I hope you enjoyed this little look into my life!
