As someone who loves to DIY, I always have such a hard time finding cute, unique DIY Christmas gifts when the time rolls around.

I’m really wanting to DIY a lot of my gifts this year, so I’ve gathered the BEST ideas I’ve found that I might do this year.

After you read this you’ll have some insanely good DIY gift ideas for Christmas that anyone would love!

This post is all about the best DIY Christmas Gifts.

1. Hot Cocoa Spoons

Hot cocoa/ chocolate spoons are a foolproof gift you could give to anyone (be wary of whether or not someone is lactose intolerant, though).

This would be SO cute to do with these Christmas spoons! You could also try to thrift some fancy spoons.

2. Peppermint Sugar Scrub

Sugar scrub is super easy to make (you basically just mix sugar with some oil) and is such a good gift to give!

3. Teacup Candle

This is another gift you could thrift for! I always see super cute teacups like this at the thrift store. You could also just buy one on amazon if you don’t want to be bothered with thrifting some, though.

4. Personalized Painted Hairbrush

This is my #1 DIY gift idea for Christmas this year that I am HEAVILY considering doing. It is such a cute and thoughtful idea! If I got one of these, I would immediately feel like such a princess.

5. DIY Bow Candle Holder

Candle holders like this would be SO cute to make! I’ve been seeing a ton of air dry clay crafts that are really cute this year. You can find tutorials for how to make these online if you search “bow candle holder DIY.”

6. Hot Cocoa Cups/ Bombs

This is another yummy DIY gift idea you could do! You basically just spread chocolate in a paper (or plastic) cup like this, put some hot cocoa powder in, cover it with more chocolate, stick the candy cane in, and decorate! Once everything is set, you just peel the cup away.

7. Homemade Shower Steamers

I did these for gifts last year, and they were a hit! My sister said she really loved hers. They’re SUPER easy to make! Having a mold makes them a lot easier, and I would definitely recommend using one, but you don’t even really need one to make these.

All you need is some baking soda, citric acid, and essential oils/ fragrance oils.

8. Personalized Tote Bag

I LOVE making custom tote bags. My bestie and I usually paint ours with acrylic paint, but I love this bow DIY idea as well!

9. Handmade Bookmark

These would be super easy and cheap to make if you already have the materials to make them. All you really need is some thick paper and something to draw a design with! I personally would use some watercolor paper and paints, but you can use whatever!

10. DIY Porcelain Plate

I saw someone on tiktok paint a porcelain plate for her parents for Christmas and I thought that was sooooo thoughtful! You could honestly thrift some pretty plates from the thrift store. I am heavily considering doing this!

11. Felt Ornaments

This would be a super cute gift to make for parents or grandparents to put on their trees every year! I’m not entirely sure how to make felt ornaments, but you should be able to find tutorials online.

12. Chunky Hand Knit Blanket

You can never go wrong with giving a blanket as a gift! This would be a good gift to give for people who like to crochet and knit, but I’ve also seen tons of people make these by hand knitting!

13. Tea Bombs

Sale

This would be such a cute gift for someone who likes tea! You basically make the “bombs” with isomalt, and you pop some tea in the middle before closing it up. Then, you just drop it in a drink and it’ll melt and the tea will pop out!

14. Pipe Cleaner Lamp

This is such a gorgeous gift, and would be relatively cheap to make! It would definitely require some skill and time, but it would be so cute!

15. Painted Wine Glass

This is another one I am heavily considering doing this year! You need glass specific paints for this, but you could thrift the glasses. My step mom had some painted wine glasses when I was growing up that me and my bestie were obsessed with.
