My friend recently texted me and said she’s holding a Summerween (summer Halloween) party soon, and I immediately started trying to figure out what Halloween desserts I could bring. If you’re someone who loves desserts like me, they’re probably your favorite part of every holiday, too.

I found some seriously amazing Halloween dessert ideas while I was searching, and if you’re planning anything for Halloween, you should definitely try some of these ideas out!

After you read this post, you’ll have so many good ideas for Halloween dessert.

This post is all about the best Halloween desserts.

1. Ghost Chocolate Covered Strawberries

These are so cute and they’d be so easy to make! All you’d have to do is dip them in some white chocolate, let it run a bit at the bottom to make the ghost shape, and then add some darker chocolate for the eyes and mouth.

2. Spider Web Brownies

Spider web brownies are so adorable, and they’d be so simple to make! You’d just make some brownies (or buy them pre-made) and do the spider web design with some icing or frosting.

3. Vintage Style Halloween Cake

If you’re wanting to do some kind of Halloween cake, this is an AMAZING idea. I am obsessed with how this cake looks! If I were to do a Halloween cake, I would 100% do this one.

4. Ghost S’mores Dip

This is another Halloween dessert that would be super easy to make, but is sure to be a crowd pleaser. You spread chocolate chips over the bottom of a cast iron skillet (or whatever baking dish), pour some heavy cream over that, then cover that with a layer of these ghost peeps. Then bake at 450 for 8-10 minutes.

After it’s done, add mini chocolate chips to the ghost faces because they’ll fade in the oven.

5. Spider Web Pretzels

These spider web pretzels are so cute! To make them you’d lay pretzel sticks in the kind of star pattern they’re in in the picture, and then you’d drizzle melted chocolate over them in a spiral.

6. Halloween Snack Board

If you want to really go over the top with your Halloween dessert, this idea is so good. You’d just combine a bunch of different Halloween snacks on a board like this!

7. Graveyard Pudding Cups

I love this dessert idea for Halloween. It’s so cute! You’d make a layered pudding cup using chocolate pudding and crushed oreos. Then, you’d add some gummy worms, candy pumpkins, and Milano cookies for the graves.

8. Creepy Cupcakes

These cupcakes are so perfect if you’re wanting to do a creepy Halloween dessert! The original creator used these for the knives on the cupcakes, but they’re showing as currently unavailable on amazon. These aren’t exactly the same, but they’d give a similar effect! They used red icing for the blood.

9. Dark Chocolate Halloween Chip Cookies

Dark cookies with white and orange baking chips just scream Halloween! These would be so cute to do if you want to do something on theme without being too over the top. You can’t go wrong with cookies!

10. Bloody Pretzels

These pretzels are another dessert that would be super easy to make! You’d just dip the pretzels in melted white chocolate and then drizzle some melted red candy melts over it.

11. Candy Corn Rice Krispie Treats

I can’t look at candy corn without thinking about Halloween. Doing candy corn themed rice krispie treats would be really cute for Halloween! You could either make the rice krispie treats yourself or just buy some and cut them into the shapes.

12. Mummy Oreo Balls

To make these, they blended some golden oreos with cream cheese, made them into balls, dipped them in white chocolate, drizzled them with some more white chocolate, and then added the eyeballs.

13. Halloween Bark

This dessert idea is so cute and would be so easy to make. It’d be sure to impress people, though! To make it, you’d melt some chocolate, spread it on some parchment paper, and add whatever toppings you want. Once it’s dry you can break it apart!

14. Witches Broomsticks

These little witches broom treats are so adorable. They’re super easy to make, you just melt some chocolate, dip the ends of the pretzels into the melted chocolate, and then use that as the “glue” to secure the pretzel sticks to the reeses.

15. Witch Hat Cookies

To make these witch hat cookies, you’ll put a strawberry on top of an oreo, cover the whole thing in chocolate, and then decorate it!

16. Grave Brownies

This is another really good brownie idea for Halloween. Brownies are my personal favorite dessert, so I would probably go with something like this if I was making a Halloween dessert. The cookie graves and pumpkin candies really take these brownies to the next level!

17. Jack-O-Lantern Hand Pies

These are a great dessert if you’re wanting to do something spooky but yummy. I believe they used cherry pie filling for the filling on these hand pies. You can either use a cookie cutter like these or cut out the faces yourself!

18. Witch Finger Pretzels

These would creep me out so bad that I probably wouldn’t eat them, but they would be so good if you’re wanting to do a creepy Halloween dessert. They probably made the green and black chocolate using white chocolate and adding green and black food coloring. The finger nails are chocolate covered almonds!

19. Googly Eye Cookies

I am obsessed with these googly eye cookies! They’d be so easy to make if you had some googly eye sprinkles, and they’d look so cool.
