Netflix Shows to Binge during Thanksgiving break

Thanksgiving break is coming up, and with that is some time to relax! A break is the perfect time to binge watch some Netflix, and I have made a list of my favorite binge-worthy shows for you to watch!

I don’t know about you, but I am so excited for Thanksgiving break. I am so looking forward to getting to spend time with my family, my dog, and of course–various Netflix shows. I’m a little bit of a Netflix junkie and watch way more than I should, but because of that I have found a lot of AMAZING shows. So, I decided to share them with you! If you’re looking for new Netflix shows to binge, keep reading!

Reign

This show is definitely my number one favorite show on Netflix. I actually found this one on a Netflix recommendation list, so that’s pretty cool. I am currently watching the it for the third time. It starts when Mary Queen of Scots arrives at French court, engaged to prince Francis. It is filled with romance, politics, and friendship. In my opinion, the clothes on the show are enough to make me want to watch it. I mean, just look at those beautiful dresses in the picture! It’s just a plus that Mary is an absolute girl boss. #girlpower

The OA

I think I watched the first season of this show within two days. It’s about a woman named Prairie Johnson, who has been missing for 7 years and has just returned home. Everyone is shocked and confused about what happened to her, because when she disappeared she was blind, but she can now see. Prairie refuses to tell anyone what happened to her besides a group of high schoolers, who she recruits to help her save someone named Homer.

Gossip Girl

What would a Netflix list be without including this gem? I watched this show religiously in high school. Gossip Girl is basically a series about a group of rich teens who live in New York. It is mostly centered around two main characters, best friends Serena and Blair. If you want to indulge yourself in a show that is all about gossip and romance, this one is for you.

American Horror Story

If you’re not into scary stuff, then this one probably isn’t for you. However, it’s one of my favorites. I really like to watch this show with my friends (I think if I watched it alone I would get too freaked out). This is a show where each season is pretty much unrelated, so you can jump back and forth between seasons and still know what is going on. I started out by watching the 4th season, then I went to the 1st one, then to the 3rd, then to the 6th, and now I’m watching the 2nd. Every season is basically just a different scary story. A really creative and intriguing scary story. This show is sooo binge worthy.

Stranger Things

This show is all the rage right now. I liked this show so much that I watched the entire first season in one day. I haven’t seen the second season yet, but I am planning to watch it over thanksgiving break. I’ve heard so many good things about the second season, so I am pretty pumped to see it.

The show is based around a group of kids and a young girl, Eleven, who has powers and is running from something. The show itself is amazing, and if that wasn’t enough to make you watch it, then the cast definitely is. The kids that are on the show are so awesome, and if you haven’t seen them all over twitter lately, I’m sure you will sometime soon. The show is great, they’re great. Just watch it. You won’t regret it.

Sherlock

This series follows the life of genius detective Sherlock Holmes and his partner/ best friend John Watson. It shows them solving complex investigations and is the perfect balance of intelligence and humor. It’s great, and it honestly makes me jealous of how smart Sherlock is. And, I mean, Benedict Cumberbatch plays the main character… who wouldn’t want to watch it?
