The Best College Party Food
1. Pizza
Shop This Party Food Idea:
Pizza is probably the easiest college party food ever, and it is something everyone is sure to like. Whether you order it or make your own, it’s super easy! You can just serve it in the box it comes in, or, if you want to get a little fancier, you could serve it on a pizza board like this one.
2. Walking Tacos
Copy This College Party Food Idea:
If you’ve never had walking tacos before, you HAVE to try them. I remember the first time I ever had one I was totally mind-blown.
To make them you basically just open a bag of chips (doritos preferably) and add taco toppings. Then, you can eat it right out of the bag!
These would be so easy for a party. Guests would just grab their own bag of chips and add whatever they want in there. Also, this would have minimal cleanup since you eat right out of the chip bag!
3. Burrito Bar
Recreate This Idea For Your Party:
This is a party food idea that would probably be pretty cheap to do! You’d just get some tortillas, lay out the toppings, and guests could make their own burritos.

4. Sandwiches
You can never go wrong with doing sandwiches for a group of people. You could do different types of buns like croissants, brioche buns, etc!
5. Sliders
Sliders are one of my absolute favorite easy meals to make when I want something quick and easy, but also want to have leftovers. This idea would be PERFECT to do for a group of people at a party.
This is the recipe I like to use when I make a batch of sliders. They’re so good! Everyone I’ve made them for has loved them.
Making sliders is good because basically all you have to do is take the tops off the rolls, add your meat and cheese, replace the tops, pour your sauce over, and then bake! Then you have at least 12 sliders with minimal effort. Making these for 40ish people would probably only take about 10 minutes (outside of the baking time).
6. Popcorn Bar
Copy This Food Idea For Your Party:
Popcorn is such a genius snack idea for a college party. It would be pretty cheap, too! If you wanted to go above and beyond, you could also include some toppings to add like m&ms.

7. Pasta Bar
Shop This Party Food:
Pasta would be a super easy thing to put together for a lot of people, and it would be pretty cost effective as well! It’s also something most people will absolutely love. You’d just need the noodles and some different sauce options for people to choose from!
Pro tip: if you’re going to do this, you’ll need a food warmer like this one to keep the sauces warm.
8. Charcuterie Board
Recreate This Idea:
A charcuterie board is a great thing to make if you want something for people to snack on! If you’re serving a lot of people, you could even do an entire charcuterie table spread.

9. Dessert Kebabs
Copy This College Party Dessert Idea:
I saw these recently and they look SO good. This would be an awesome dessert idea for a party! It’s awesome because people could just grab it. It would take a bit of time to put together the individual kebabs, but it would DEFINITELY be a crowd-pleaser.
10. Nacho Table
Recreate This Party Food Idea:
I’ve seen some people doing table spreads like this on tiktok, and it is SO genius. You just cover the entire table in aluminum foil, and then you don’t need any containers for the food and to clean up you just remove the foil from the table.
11. 7 Layer Dip
A 7 layer dip like this would be so good to make for a party. You could serve it straight out of the tray, or you could put a little bit of the dip in some plastic cups for everyone to just grab. If you want it to be SUPER low maintenance, you could serve individual bags of chips so people could just grab their own bag of chips and a cup of the dip.

12. Hot Dog Bar
Hot dogs are super easy to make in bulk. This is another thing that would be pretty cheap and awesome to do.
13. S’mores Board

If you’re wanting to serve a dessert, this would be so perfect! Baking the marshmallows and making them into a sort of dip is so genius.
14. Potluck
If you’re not wanting to cook everything yourself, you could always do a potluck and ask everyone to bring some food!
I saw someone say that a fun potluck theme is “childhood favorites” where everyone brings their favorite food from when they were a kid.
15. Mashed Potato Bar
This idea might sound super weird, but I saw a tiktok yesterday about a couple who served mashed potatoes with different toppings at their wedding, and apparently the crowd went wild.
I would be so obsessed if someone did a mashed potato bar at their event. The best part is it would be so easy to do. You’d just need to serve them in something, like a crockpot, that would keep them warm!
