I recently went to my very first college football game and had no clue how to wear my hair. It was insanely hot and I felt like I didn’t have very many options.

Since then I’ve found so many cute hair ideas for game day! After you read this post you’ll have so many cute and unique hairstyle ideas that will make you the cutest person in the crowd.

1. Half Up Half Down Pigtails

This is such a cute look for a football game if you’re someone who likes doing half up half down pigtails! I think this hairstyle looks best with your hair curled a little bit, but you could also do it straight and it would look so cute, too.

2. French Braids

French braids are the perfect hairstyle idea if it’s going to be hot/ humid. It’ll keep your hair in place and keep it from looking too sweaty and frizzy.

3. Ribbon Hairstyle

I love this hair idea if you’re going to the game with a friend. It would be so cute to wear matching outfits and each wear a different school color ribbon in your hair!

This would be such a cute idea to wear by yourself too, though.

4. Space Buns

If you’re a space bun girlie, this would be such a cute way to wear your hair for game day! You could do two like the person in the picture did, or you could do just one in the middle.

5. Fishtail Braided Hair

This is a more high maintenance hairstyle idea because you have to either know how to fishtail braid yourself or have someone who knows how braid your hair. But it looks SO pretty!

6. High Braided Pigtails

I think this hairstyle gives very much ~baddie~ energy. It is so unique and would be super easy to do! Just put your hair in high pigtails and do a few little braids on each side. This is another one that would be really good for hot weather!

7. Bubble Braids

I’m obsessed with bubble braids and I use any opportunity I can to wear them. Game day is the perfect time to do your hair like this! It’ll keep your hair put if it gets hot or windy.

8. French Bubble Braids

This is another cute bubble braid variation! This one looks a little harder to do, especially if you’re doing your hair yourself, but it is super cute.

9. Half Up Half Down Bubble Braid Pigtails

This is one of my favorite ideas on the list! It looks so adorable.

10. Straight Half Up Half Down Hair

If you want to do something more simple, you could do a regular half up half down hairstyle with your hair straightened!

11. Half Up Half Down French Braids

If you’re wanting to keep your hair down but also out of your face for the game, doing a couple french braids at the front of your hair like this would be perfect.

12. Ponytails With Hats

At the game I went to recently I wore my hair in a curly ponytail like this! I didn’t wear a hat but I wish I had because the sun absolutely scorched my face.

13. Father Back Half Up Half Down Pigtails

This is another cute variation of the half up half down pigtails. You’d just put them farther back on your head and it looks very cute.

14. Curly Hair

If you want to do something more simple but still cute you could just do a normal curly hairstyle like this!
